Alright, I've said it before and I will say it again… I have to eat healthy.
So it's time. I am raising my right hand and stating out loud, "I will start eating healthy again starting today, November 2, 2014." If that's not serious, then I don't know what is.
So let me inform you with what I will be packing for lunch this week. It is the beginning of a redo of healthiness ALL day long, and luckily the lunches aren't usually the issue. It's breakfast, dinner, and snacks.
I recently posted a week's worth of a meal plan, so if you are interested in seeing a whole day of meals for a week then click here. The way I eat when I seriously eat healthy isn't anything fancy. I try and eat the most fruits and veggies as possible, less starchiness in the evening, and lots of protein. That's really all there is too it. Now, if you want to build some muscle and feel stronger, then of course working out is a must too.
I'm going to continue to walk Lily this week for some cardio, add a little bit of pushups and abs after, and eventually start taking some classes at the gym again. As far as lunches go for me this week, here are a few things I have planned to bring:
I am packing my snack pack lunches. Simple, healthy, and actually very filling!
-celery and carrots
-multigrain pita chips
-fresh deli turkey
-roasted garlic hummus
