In Case You Were Wondering...

As most people know (well, the closest people to me in life at the moment know), I recently resigned from teaching for personal reasons. Yes, I keep hearing that I was amazing at my job, I seemed so happy, I inspired others, and more. I humbly find those comments all so incredibly rewarding. BUT, the most rewarding part was seeing my students ENJOY learning by owning their work, personalizing their learning, and truly seeing them show their talents through their actions and work in and out of the classroom! I will forever adore, care, LOVE, and be there for each one of my students (and team). As for me? I plan to trust God with everything. I have no idea where He is leading me next but I am fully trusting Him, and also... my purpose remains: to provide hope to others by helping and loving like He loves us.

In the meantime, I started sharing what worked so well in my classroom on Teachers Pay Teachers. I've been inspired by others to create digital learning assignments and activities for lesson plans. I've found that these activities have not only made it easier on the teacher when planning, leading, and guiding a lesson, but they 100% help the students! Kids these days love technology! They love these activities because they are digitally hands-on, interactive, fun, and easy to follow. My students were always wanting more of these as opposed to me standing and teaching followed by a worksheet.

Also, I want to work on my blog/Instagram more. I have ideas ahead and I am interested in looking into "vlogging" through YouTube. I feel as though it is a way to express myself and another way to live out my purpose. Who inspired me to do this? My students! Along with the digital activities, I always incorporated videos of me teaching the lesson as opposed to me standing and teaching. I treated the videos like a Youtuber and definitely joked and had fun while creating them! The kids LOVED them because they found them entertaining, but also if they got stuck on something, they could pause, rewind, and go back and watch the videos at their own pace. So, I'm thinking about giving it a whirl. I want to feature lifestyle things such as what I'm up to, fashion, food, suggestions, random thoughts, advice, etc.!

Before I end this post I want to state that I know for a fact that God used me throughout my years of teaching. My prayer is that He continues to use me for His Kingdom!

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God; that if we ask anything according to his will, he will hear us. And if we know that he hears us -- whatever we ask -- we know that we have what we asked of him." - 1 John 5:14-15

I truly value each of you guys and I appreciate the prayers and love throughout this whole process.

Digital Learning Math Activites!

Hi Friends!

Today I am excited to announce that I have started sharing my digital learning activities through Teachers Pay Teachers! This site is a LIFE SAVER when it comes to lesson planning! If your students have access to technology, then these activities are for you!

I have previously used/created a wide variety of digital learning activities that have benefited my students' levels of technology skills, problem solving, and engagement, soooo...

I decided to start a TPT shop featuring no prep, paperless, quick checking, engaging, easily to follow digital lessons that are simply downloaded to make a copy to go straight to your Google Drive!

The activities are perfect for math centers, pre-assessing, practice, partner work, grading, and more!

They can easily be posted in Google Classroom, Schoology, etc.

They are geared mainly towards 4th grade math at the moment, but can also be used in 3rd and 5th grade depending on differentiating and learning levels.

I hope you find these activities as helpful as my students and teaching team has!
